HOFELE
Creativity fuels me. Photography was my first creative passion. For me, photography is not just about freezing the moment, but about freezing the feeling of being behind the lens in that moment. I have always appreciated how photography cements and catalogs time, making life feel less fleeting, a bit less temporary.
However, my first award-winning work came from my second passion, documentary filmmaking. During my junior year of high school, I made a documentary on a life-sized blue whale replica, composed completely of plastic trash on display at Crissy Field in San Francisco. Multimedia artists, advertising creatives, and I, too, a student filmmaker, had used our talents to affect change.
My creativity is continuing to flourish as an Advertising major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was able to combine my love for travel and my career, in the summer of 2022, while working at a branding studio in Barcelona, Spain. I strengthened my skills this past summer in New York City as a strategy intern at Siegel + Gale and am continuing to strengthen my skills as an Account Executive at UNC-Chapel Hill’s student led Brand Studio.
My whole life I have bounced from the West to the South, adopting a diverse collection of values along the way. I look forward to graduating in May 2024 and bringing these values and my creative passion to my career, where I can continue to inspire and be inspired every day.
